We are in fact still hiring - truth be told we almost always are - and my previous offer does still stand. As for it being tacky to contact me directly, it might be if I cared about that sort of thing. Luckily for you, I don't. All of the HR Department's information you could need is enclosed, and I'm sure they could meet with you as soon as Monday. Assuming all goes well, I look forward to seeing you at the company.

Thursday is no good for me. I have an exam that lasts until about 9PM. Well, unless you want to make it a late date. Could we do that? Because now that I think about it Thursday is probably the best date given my hectic schedule. We'll make it work. Any place specific you want to go birthday boy?
